Have you ever been for a jog with over 35,000 people, from 35 different locations around the world, at the exact same time, all to support the same cause?! No?…then this is your chance!

Wings for Life is an international not-for-profit spinal cord research foundation. Their mission is to find a cure for spinal cord injury by funding world-class scientific research and clinical trials around the globe aimed at healing the injured spinal cord.

On May 3, 2015, you can join thousands of runners in the Wings for Life World Run, a global race a world beyond any other. Step up, nominate friends, challenge family and run for those who can’t.

How does it work?

Globally, the fun gets underway when local races start simultaneously – whether it’s day or night, spring or autumn – at 11am UTC, and 30 minutes later, Catcher Cars start to chase the racers, slowly but surely, until they pass all of the participants and end their race. There’s no static finish line, no set distance. Everyone finishes.

Follow the link below, to register or donate. 100% of the proceeds will go towards the Wings for Life Foundation.

We are very proud to be Running for team “Dickeys Legs” in an effort to raise money to fund the successful treatments for spinal cord injuries.

WE MADE IT!!! 16km before the catcher car caught us! We had such a fantastic time and were well and truly inspired by the huge number of people competing and completing the run all in the name of such a great cause. We look forward to being part of it all again next year!
